FOUNDER

Kerri Randles is a fearless storyteller and seasoned performer whose career spans theater, film, and television. The founder of the Sonoma School of Drama and lead instructor of its Summer Acting Workshop and upcoming classes in Scene Study and Improv, Kerri brings a rare combination of raw artistry, technical mastery, and real-world experience to her teaching.

She began her journey on stage in Chicago, training under Steven Ivcich at the University of Illinois Chicago, and sharpening her voice in the legendary improv halls of Second City with Mick Napier and The Annoyance Theater, with Jill Soloway. From these foundations, Kerri launched an expansive career that has taken her to the sets of some of Hollywood’s most acclaimed directors, including Oliver Stone, Clint Eastwood, William Friedkin, and Martha Coolidge.

In 2010, Kerri wrote and performed the searingly personal one-woman show Can’t You Hear Me Knockin’, which earned critical acclaim during its runs in Los Angeles, New York City, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for its brutal honesty and emotional power.

Her artistic evolution continued in 2023 when she made her directorial debut with Midnight Girl, winning awards across writing, directing, and acting categories. She currently has multiple television and film projects in development, and her memoir—based on Can’t You Hear Me Knockin’—is slated for release in 2026.

Kerri’s approach to acting is rooted in truth, risk, and creative freedom. Whether on screen or in the classroom, she inspires artists to unlock their voices and push past limits—with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
